About this notice

This notice describes the information handled by the Gidgegannup Junior Football Club website. It is not a complete club-wide privacy policy for player records, safeguarding matters or information held in other systems.

General enquiries

When the enquiry form is enabled, we ask for your name, email address, optional phone number, enquiry type and message so the club can respond. Your enquiry is sent through the configured email service to the club's nominated inbox. The website does not keep a separate database of enquiry messages.

Enquiries may remain in the club's email account and its service-provider backups. Please ask the club about retention, access, correction or deletion. Do not include payment details, medical information or sensitive details about a child in a general enquiry.

Registration and other websites

Player registrations and any associated payments take place on PlayHQ, not on this website. PlayHQ, Facebook and Google Maps are separate services with their own terms and privacy notices. Their links open those services when you choose to follow them. This site does not automatically load their tracking scripts or embedded feeds.

Cookies and technical information

The contact and committee administration pages use a first-party session cookie for security and form processing. This site does not include advertising trackers or analytics by default.

For abuse prevention, the site keeps temporary rate-limit counters using a keyed hash of the connecting IP address. These entries expire after the relevant limit window and are removed on a subsequent rate-limit check. The web host may separately retain standard access and error logs. Ask the club or hosting provider for details of their logging and retention arrangements.

Club photographs

Photographs may be added by authorised club administrators. To ask about an image or request its removal, contact the club. Please identify the relevant page and photograph without sending unnecessary personal information.
